  5.     Rotator simulates the motion of a pendulum attached to a uniformly rotating wheel.  The relevant parameters of the physical system can be changed with sliders.  In addition to the simulation, a Mathematica notebook is incorporated into the application.  The notebook describes the derivation of the differential equations which are used to model the mechanical system.

  7. Rotator is used for individual student exploration at Allegheny College.
